OT: COD Modern Warfare 2 Attention Grabber
If you play video games, especially first person shooter video games, then you may find this as interesting as I did. As I popped in my new COD Modern Warfare 2 disc I was greeted with two surprises. First, there was already an update available for this game on the Xbox 360. Interesting, I thought as I applied the update. Then after that was complete, I signed back in and let the splash screen load. After selecting START, I was greeted with my second surprise before even starting the actual game:
Disturbing Content Warning
Thats right, I guess our beloved game rating system is just not enough. That is a DISTURBING CONTENT WARNING that is giving you the option to SKIP OVER A MISSION because you may find it disturbing and or offensive. REALLY!? I have been playing FPS games for quite awhile now, and I can not recall ever seeing a message like this – allowing you to skip part of the game because you may be offended. LOL I guess it is just a sign of the times…. but if you play video games – lmk what you think about this one. It sure has my attention.
